This is a pretty standard and forgettable one man against the world action movie. It starts out decently, and the scenes where Jack Ryan is in Russia in fish out of water mode are pretty good. But then it just devolves into a series of standard chases and fight scenes.
It just doesn't have the intelligence of some of the better Jack Ryan movies (like Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger). Chris Pine is blah as Ryan, definitely no Harrison Ford. And I couldn't stand Keira Knightley's sad attempt at an American accent.
Plus you won't find a cheesier last line and last shot in a movie.
