Review of Jack Reacher (2012) by Paul J — 03 Nov 2013
I think it's pretty cool that Tom Cruise plays a character that, in the end, stands up against violence against women. The movie has its moments of fun and action but sadly the majority of the film is too simple, predictable and pedestrian.
I appreciate the 70's crime feel. It does come across more old-fashioned. A shame the story isn't more original. The dialogue is so basic, I found myself cringing and wanting the next action sequence.
That said, it has Werner Herzog in it!
