Review of Jack Goes Boating (2010) by Jaime B — 18 Oct 2010
Phiilip Seymour Hoffman gives yet another great performance and as well does the supporting cast. Its a showcase of four very passionate and authentic performances surrounded by the complexities of love.
It has a very akward and in sometimes depressing mood, but still manages to feel romantic through out. A very impressive directorial debut from Hoffman, but still say he should keep to acting as the movie does reach a point where the tone gets a little wild and out of control.
