Review of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2007) by Maggie L — 27 Jul 2008
Totally support Canadian Film, especially one that did scenes in Ottawa. The story was a bit long and the character Eve was terribly annoying, but if you look back in the 80's, that's how movies were.
For me, I thought it was good, I loved the monster idea, and it was nice to see Robert Englund again and not in a Freddy Krueger role. I thought it was well done and definitely a tribute to the older films.
I look forward to seeing more from Trevor Matthews, he was very cool.
