Review of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2007) by Alex B — 07 Oct 2008
Jack Brooks is a fantastic hero/antihero that is desperately needed in the genre right now. Trevor Matthews plays him excellently, being dramatically intense and hilarious simultaneously. Robert Englund hams it up in the most fantastic way possible.
And the best part? No CG. All practical effects, and they're fucking awesome.
