Review of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2007) by Paul C — 30 Jan 2010
When I heard about this movie, I really wanted to see it. But when the movie ended, I was upset for it was not the amazing film I hoped it would be. For the most part the movie had some boring parts. The one thing they needed to do more was show more monsters, but they didn't.
The ones they did show had really good make up work. Robert Englund's character turns into a giant monster and it was all done with animatronics; no CG. That really gave the movie bonus points in my eyes.
I bet if they made a sequel to this movie, they could fix some of the mistakes from the first one. This is an ok B horror film.
