Jack Brooks witnessed the murder of his parents at the hands of a monster and when he grows up, he finds his calling in life as a monster slayer.
After the opening sequence, I thought I was going to get myself into some cheesy and campy fun. Not the case. This movie is little more then an 'Evil Dead' clone where the hero is a Adam Sandler inspired plumber. The effects are bad but, they're supposed to be and when the movie isn't making a lame attempt at humor, it's as dull as watching paint dry.
