Movie wasn't anything worth paying for unless you want to give a tribute to a man who has done some great work for Indian Cinema. I'm not a fan of the kissing and sex scenes that have entered Indian cinema, obviously life reflects art so my assumption is that kissing in the open is more acceptable in Indian society now.

The movie certainly has its moments in terms of comedy but the fantasy facets of this movie are too extreme. I understand that the fantasy love story is the Yash Raj thing but it should feel plausible.

The definitiveness of Katrina's character to believe that Jesus wants her to never be with this guy she loves seems both odd and a little contrived. While she promises never to see him again she ends up seeing him numerous times but believes that her promise can now be amended to mean she will never be with him.

The ferocity with which Khan's character acts out his scenes as a bomb squad captain also gives this singularity of purpose that doesn't relate well to life. I understand that the answer to everything I am saying becomes that it is a fantasy romance or epic love story, but the manner in which we experience it should be plausible enough that those who believe in love might believe that they or someone else they might know could/would be willing to experience that type of hardship for love.

It all seems too much, which is why it simple doesn't come close to the level of Veer Zaara.
