Review of Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) by Borhan K — 11 Dec 2015
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a nearly 3 hour long Bollywood flick about a man that works for the Indian Army and is a Bomb disposal person. The difference is that he defuses the bombs without the safety of a suite or anything of that nature.
The story finds us immersed in his journey and we go back in time after a reporter finds his journal and is interested to find out more about this man.
The movie then leaves the Bomb plot line for about over an hour to take us back to how he became a bomb specialist.
Who or what caused him to take on such risk? It all cam down to as always the love of a women. They had an epic love story and the dude challenges God to allow him to see the women again if he lives dies bla bla.
You will be enthralled by the movie and fall in love with the story and characters. It does have the Bollywood songs as well but nothing stand-out as the big hit song for me.
This is Yash Chopra's last film before he passed away and as always it has that high quality and all the elements you expect in a Yash Chopra masterpiece.
A movie you have to watch if you are a Sharukh Khan and Yash Chopra fan whenever these two get together they have made movie magic.
Totally worth to watch.
Young kids should watch this with parents as the bomb scenes can be a bit far fetched as in what is reality and what is not.
Totally recommended.
