Review of Gods of Egypt (2016) by Borhan K — 06 Nov 2016
Gods of Egypt is an action adventure slash Sci-Fi Fil that kinda takes you on an adventure of a battle of two Egyptian Gods with a twist of Star Wars as they have spears that turn into light sabers.
I was wanting a straight forward historical piece but this really pushed the boundaries or reality. I know it's a Hollywood film but come on.
Its the normal good Vs Evil story line even with a Romeo & Juliet twist.
It is PG 13 and all can watch it but do you really want to watch a film that goes for over 2 hours long and in the end you are thinking come on this has to be over in 90mins.
You have Gerald Butler in this movie with Jamie Lannister as the nephew and the bad uncle kinda reminds me of the lion king as well while I am writing this.
However the movie has a moral of the story at the end and it took over 2 hours to get there.
It's a one time viewing for me.
