Review of J. Edgar (2011) by Amanda H — 17 May 2012
Leonardo DiCaprio is easily one of the most talented, most versatile actors of his generation. His performance here is phenomenal. Unfortunately, the rest of the film doesn't quite measure up- with the exception of his performance, the whole thing feels a bit empty and dragged out.
It's worth seeing for his stellar acting, though, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.
