Review of J. Edgar (2011) by Arslan K — 16 Sep 2014
Probably one of Eastwood's best film. This film beautifully dissects the Edgar story and tells it in flashback point of view. I was really impressed by the narration, plus it was done by the one and only leonardo dicaprio who in this film was great.
He really got into his character and gave an excellent performance. The story was great and so was the action by everyone. One minor flaw I saw was the makeup, the old age make up done on the 2 main characters was not realistic, which this case is a big loss since many of the scenes has the old age edgar, and the more I looked at it the more I didn't like it but does it take away entertainment from the film? I would say no that's a flaw not a flaw that will mess up the whole experience.
Overall from its detective stuff to its story this won't disappoint and is a must see for any Eastwood fan.
