Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by Chris W — 05 Mar 2009
Despite the fact I called the ending about a half-hour in, I've Loved You So Long is a brilliant character study of one's readjustment to the outside world once they've been released from prison.
Kristen Scott Thomas' performance is striking in its subtlety, her haunting quietness, the way entire scenes are played just by her facial expressions and especially her eyes. The entire film is wonderful based off her performance alone.
