Strong character study. Kristin Scott Thomas is terrific as a woman who just spent 15 years in prison. She is cold and mysterious. What she's done and why is reavealed at the right time. This is the first film from author Philippe Claudel and it all feels like a book, which is a compliment in this case.
I recommend this powerful drama.
