Despite one of the best and overlooked movie performances from last year, this family drama serves as a reminder that melodrama and manipulation aren't restricted to American productions. Those elements weigh the film down preventing it from greatness.
Enjoyed the running gag that the maid who broke household items was nicknamed Katrina "after the Hurricane.".
