Ok...you have to bear with it, but where it goes is awesome. I have a lot of trouble trying to get into contemporary French film--except for Cache, I loved that movie--but I gritted through the monotony.
Overall, the SAG awards was right in acknowledging Kristen Scott Thomas's amazingly human performance. But more could happen. Definately.
