Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by Gustavo G — 01 May 2009
Depressing film about Juliette, a women who tries to pick up the pieces in her life after she gets released from prison after a 15-year sentence. Kristin Scott Thomas played a wonderful as a woman who can't seem to move on with her life after the events that lead her prison and throughout the movie, you see how hard her past actions have been on her family members, such as her father, mother, and sister.
The film leaves a bitter taste in your mouth as you find out Juliette's crimes and her reasons for it. Not much into foreign films, but this movie was well worth a shot.
