I rarely watch subtitled films, but I'm glad I gave this one a chance. A wonderful performance by Kristin Scott Thomas as a woman released from jail and then reunited with her younger sister. The film follows her gradual re-integration into society, and despite feelings of alienation, she gradually opens up, little by little.
Gentle pace with glimmering rays of hope and a satisfying ending.
