Frank Capra's film is a Christmas masterpiece that's possibly the most uplifting, feel good film ever produced. James Stewart's performance is as good, if not better, than any of his other roles.
It's A Wonderful Life raised the bar for Christmas films in 1946, that has yet to be reached since. Wonderful.
