Review of It's a Wonderful Life (1946) by Sarfaraz A — 03 Feb 2012
George Bailey (played by James Stewart) is a character we all love to like and we all wish to be like, descent, caring, jolly, and above truthful and trustworthy young man in town called Bedford Falls.
Director Frank Capra has utilized his mastery to establish a kind of character with James Stewart, which would ever shine in coming years long after they were gone. Lionel Barrymore plays Henry F. Potter, a person we dislike for his evil deeds, he does to people of Bedford Town.
Donna Reed plays Mary Hatch, a sweet-caring-loving housewife, a woman who would do everything to keep her husband happy and free from the worries. Capra uses marvelous touch of fantasy elements and cunning-world together, to work-out this great film.
We begin to explore issues being encountered by George Bailey, and how he reacts to them is, what we better expect from a man, who has got all those qualities, mentioned earlier. A superior in any film-related list.
