The plot is somewhat predictable,.
And it doesn't seem very fashionable,.
But it's very comforting and touching to know we, the little people, are valuable and good for the world in some small way or another.
The poignant and in-depth exploration of the value and virtue of an 'ordinary' life of decency and integrity to the wider society is still as golden as it was half a century ago.
Timeless and precious, a must-see movie.
