Review of It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2002) by Bill T — 22 Mar 2009
Man, the whole muppet slide continues. Even though it has one brilliant joke at the very beginning with Mel Brooks as a snowman, it quickly falls apart after that. Kermit and company are losing their theatre to a greedy developer, and it takes intervention from above to make things right.
Too bad it did'nt fix Joan Cusack's truly horrendous performance while they were at it. Not too sure what she was told, but she can be good, but here she's just really really bad. Some godawful songs, Kermit not really acting like Kermit, oh, and Matthew Lillard.
God help us all.
