Review of Italian for Beginners (2000) by Peter D — 21 Jun 2008
How films should be. Real versus glossy. Real emotions versus acted emotions. And everything can be dismissed with a one liner joke and some canned laughter.
It shows that a bit of goodwill can go a long way with dealing with life. Life does not always work as nicely as in this movie but it is better than the hyped up versions of life in Hollywood movies.
