Absolutely fantastic Sci-Fi Thriller (from which Ronald Shusett and Dan O'Bannon lifted the script for the original Alien) about a group of astronauts returning to Earth from Mars only to find out that they are carrying a vicious Alien stowaway.
Despite all of the technical inaccuracies, the suspense level is through the roof for this picture (I can only imagine it's effect on 1958 cinema goers). Effectively does in just over an hour what countless other films barely attain in two.
