This is a very rare Ingmar Bergman-movie: A feelgood-comedy with happy-end! Great performances by Birger Malmsten and Barbro Kollberg; a couple fighting for a good life against bourgeouis, the church and authorities.
Ingmars second movie, shot 1946. He was not satisfied, but the public was!
