One of three films to win all big 5 oscars (pic, director, screenplay, actor & actress) and pretty deserving too. I didn't like claudette colbert at first but she eventually grew on me. I don't think clark gable has ever been more charming.

good chemistry amongst all the actors. despite the plot seeming a little formulaic and one note, it may be one of the best rom-com's ever.
