Review of It Happened One Night (1958) by Mark L — 18 Feb 2014
As I was watching what is arguably the original rom com, I was asking myself: Why don't people like old movies? Sure, some of the b&w classics are watched today (It's a Wonderful Life, Psycho, Casablanca), but why stop there?
This is another movie worthy of attention, and is as romantic as it is funny (I am talking laugh out loud funny here.).
As a movie person, I am told a lot which movies I should or should not see. Now it is my turn: see this. It is fantastic, and even, in its own way, kid friendly (thanks to the walls of Jericho).
