Review of It Happened One Night (1934) by Jesper M — 16 May 2008

I really enjoyed this film. The chemistry between Gable and Colbert was perfect and it just allowed for a great story to play out, with all the flirting and wise cracks along the way. It all felt so real too, and this really was one of the first of its kind, and that makes me appreciate it even more.

The hitchhike scene can make me crack up just like anything else I see today, and I can echo Gable's character's dreams of a relationship. Great picture.
