The rare film that manages to be scary, multi-faceted, thought-provoking, haunting, and grimly beautiful all at once. Never gratuitous, which surprised me considering the sexual theme. Every shot was clearly thought out well.
I even enjoyed the controversial ending. I can't say enough good things about this movie, and I can't stop thinking about it. I get the feeling I will be rewatching this before long.
