Review of It Could Happen to You (1994) by Ryan E — 10 Jan 2010
It Could Happen To You does what it sets out to do; in that it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside; Nic Cage does his best in a nice-guy role and rewatching the film shows that Nic Cage does have some sort of range in his acting. Bridget Fonda nails to sweet and innocent role she is in; but dear god if I had to watch anymore than 5 minutes of Rosie Perez I could've possibly killed myself; do we really need to be presented with such an annoying voice? Her character is evil and annoying as is; but that Voice; urgh I'd prefer to listen to Fran Drescher on A-B Repeats for 24 hours than her.
Overall though the film is sweet and charming and will leave you feeling happy on the inside.
