This is a bad movie. Ignore the critics. It's bad because nothing comes at night and nothing is explained. There's a plague; people treat each other monstrously. The end. It's depressing as hell.
The wonderfully eerie tone in the beginning quickly becomes ho-hum. The movie Witch does magical realism SO much better.
