Creepy, frightening and terrific on atmosphere; well-acted and well-executed in a minimalist style, this is the kind of picture modern cinema is lacking. The best scenes are the ones where Travis is wandering in the house in the night with a lantern in the hand, they are very spooky and dream-like.
Very scary and hopeless world is depicted in this movie and it's too real too, it leaves you a bit numb and gloomy.
