Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Lilliath D — 09 Jun 2017
Just felt the need to counteract all the negative user reviews. If you were hoping for a slasher/monster/zombie flick then sure, you'll be disappointed. It is smart and suspenseful and manages to avoid the normal horror clichés.
It instead is about how fear can both push people together and turn them against each other. It's also a beautifully shot film that uses darkness and dream sequences to lend an otherworldly feeling.
