Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Louann H — 08 Jun 2017
It's not what was advertised at all. It's an apocalyptic thought piece on the actions the desperate take against each other to defend themselves at the end of the world. It's slow, painfully grim, DOG DEATH (major mood killer for me and others, so be warned), and when they add something that's supposed to be a normal part of life, the pick the most awkward parts they can find.
If you're into that kind of thing, the acting is great and it's done well, but if you're not - I'm really not - it's boring, annoying, and dreadfully unfulfilling.
