Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Hazzagalla — 26 Jul 2017
A lot is open to interpretation and discussion in 'It Comes at Night', a film that relies on tension, suspense and relatable characters put in a scenario where they are pushed to the limits when it comes to survival.
It's beautifully shot, acted and has some great cinematography and sound. Fear plays a large part in this film's success, fear of the unknown and what is going on. Some scenes felt like they could have been fleshed out a little more, and some of the jumpscares can be a bit predictable, but overall it still feels like a very well made, tightly packed horror film.
