Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Carol S — 14 Sep 2017
I had high expectations for this movie but after watching it I was totally let down. The acting was good, but the movie left a lot of unanswered questions. The name of the title doesn't even fit the movie description because nothing came out at night.
There was no monster, only two people that got sick from what I seen. They didn't even let the audience know how they got sick or what type of illness it was. Do the people turn into zombies or do they just deteriorate? The film never lets us know.
What we do know is that the virus is contagious but what actually happens next?? I don't consider this to be a thriller or horror film. It was more suspenseful if anything. I'm so happy I didn't see this in the theaters cause I would have gotten a refund.
But as I said before I was totally disappointed. I got nothing from this film except being able to look at Christopher Abbots fine self.
