Meh. Lots of audio-amplified CGI jumpscares, but with the exception of Bill Skarsgard as "IT", the various actors are easily interchangeable with the various characters: no one stands out. There's no plausible chemistry and the humor is often awkward and ill-timed. Frankly, it was slow and boring. Not scary, or even creepy-good.

I am amused by the SQUEE! reviews here, rating it a "10" but then saying, "It's not perfect..." Okay, that's coherent (not).
