Review of It Chapter Two (2019) by Jaycritic — 08 Sep 2019

I was really pleased with the overall movie, as it followed some parts of the book perfectly. Bill Hader gives the best performance with witty humor, but can also delve into serious and dramatic sense.

The cinematography is great with its flashbacks and cuts. The movie has a very dark tone that fits well with facing the past. However, it's not perfect. The pacing feels a little rushed in the first half of the movie and sometimes the scares could be predictable, due to some being in the trailers.

Overall, I would definitely recommend seeing the film, but I think the first is better. But this is still a very good film.
