Review of It Came from Outer Space (1953) by Brian S — 29 Jul 2008
God bless low-budget 50s sci-fi. I'm sure I say that every time I review a movie from this genre, but it's never not true. this film in particular was laughably enjoyable for its lame effects (perhaps better-appreciated in 3-D), inane writing, and trite, meaningless dialogue with the usual faint shades of American Cold War ideologies.
it's quite a shame something like this came from the mind of Ray Bradbury...too bad they couldn't get him to do the screenplay, it might have actually been somewhat legitimate.
