Review of It Came from Outer Space (1953) by Allan C — 12 Oct 2013

While the effects are now rather cheesy and the acting is also a bit campy, It Came From Outer Space is still a fun sci-fi romp with the obligatory insertion of messages of some sort (Xenophobia specifically in this case).

While it's not as strong as other sci-fi films of its time, it's still an effective film that provides a really good time for anyone who loves 50's sci-fi films since it has an intriguing premise, interesting messages, some good camp value, and plenty of 50's nostalgia contained within it.

If you enjoy the sci-fi films of this era, it's a film worth checking out.
