Review of It (2017) by The Ragin K — 21 Jan 2018
Though not as scary as some people wanted it to be, but the film manages bring up the creepy factor which the original TV version failed to do. "It" (2017) brings out the best parts from Stephen King's novel while also trying to make itself be different.
Bill Skarsgard shines in his role as the new version of Pennywise, a clown that deceits, lures, and eats children. Bill was unrecognizable, twisted, and fun to watch, which almost rivals Health Ledger's Joker in "The Dark Knight.
" The kids also did a wonderful job playing the roles of The Loser's Club. The only downer I would say about this film is that every single time you see Pennywise on screen, he gets less scar, which is a no-no in a horror film.
Nevertheless, the film made us excited to watch the second and final part of this rebooted franchise.
