Review of It (2017) by Shamus H — 20 Sep 2017
Andy Muschietti brings a great adaptation of one of my personal favorite horror novels (and arguably one of the best) to life. The draw is clearly Skarsgard's menacing take on Pennywise and decidedly darker tone, compared to the 90's TV 2-parter.
However, it's the performance of the Losers Club that truly makes this movie what it is. It's never easy to cast child characters but the remarkable job of all of these young actors shows what can be done when it's done right.
