You want a scary movie? Well, this is not it. I suppose technically you can call it a horror film, with mostly jump scares that MAY give some preteens some frights, but not for most adults and teens. It IS a somewhat sweet coming of age drama, the kind of which, for most of us, have seen too many times, with all the stereotypes and cliches.
Go see it if you want; just don't expect it to be scary.
