An entertaining horror flic, but it did not live up to my expectations. It felt more like a "horrorised" adaptation of Stand By Me than as an adaptation of It. Leaving out the children's back stories and talents from the book, harms the story.
As a King fan, I much prefer the 1990 mini-series over this film. Also, no Pennywise is as scary as Tim Curry's, no matter the amount of CGI you throw at it.
