Never saw the original, so I won't compare it. This reboot was actually really good, but in terms of summer horror movies I've seen this year; I found Annabelle scarier... but this one gorier. I will agree that the acting from the kids was fantastic.
.. truth be told, I don't love them all... Bill and Richie was annoying (I actually wanted them dead), loved Ben and Beverly, Eddie was good too; Stan was just quiet. Kinda disappointed in the ending(?).
