Terribly directed, written, and performed for most of the film. There was no character development for anyone and most of the performances lacked any sort of depth or substance. And it was as if the writers, director, etc.
skimmed the book and took a few key moments, not even whole scenes, just moments, to toss into the movie. Otherwise, this movie was not Stephen King's It as written. Don't waste your time with this load of garbage.
Stick to the original Tim Curry version.
