Not nearly as clever as it could have been, Isn’t it Romantic largely ends up following the same beats it sets out to parody without doing anything interesting to them. The acknowledgment of nearly every romantic-comedy trope is still fun and there are charming moments sprinkled throughout but this so easily could’ve been funnier.
