Review of Isle of Dogs (2018) by Sam W — 30 Mar 2018
Different and unique in its style and presentation with a mature setting and story, but still manages to retain its simple moral message and childhood innocence throughout the plot. Witty and entertaining with a good cast of characters, use of music and Japanese culture.
However, I felt the story focused too much on the human's conspiracy rather than the canine's struggle / journey, and it all was resolved too conveniently at the end.
