Review of Isle of Dogs (2018) by Daryl L — 21 May 2018
Wes Anderson has done it again. Isle of Dogs is a heartwarming film about a boy who searches for his lost dog with the help of 5 mutts. But the film really focuses on 1 of the dogs, played by Bryan Cranston.
The film features some of Anderson's usual traits - Divided chapters, symmetric shots, detail, and colourful palettes. Also worth noting is the score by Alexandre Desplat, who's scored Anderson's last few films too.
Other voice actors include Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Scarlett Johansson.
