Review of Isle of Dogs (2018) by Wade W — 15 Sep 2018
Isle of Dogs is by no means Anderson's best work, but it is more of that brilliant filmmaking and simple storytelling we all have come to know and love. The visuals are beautifully crafted, the voice cast is top notch, and the plot will get you thinking about the importance of good virtues.
It's another home run for Anderson, even if it can't hold a candle to the likes of Moonrise Kingdom or Fantastic Mr. Fox. (4/5).
